How does Devin Bush fit the Steelers?

The first and most obvious way Devin Bush fits Pittsburgh is the position he plays. The Steelers recently signed Mark Barron but they still need to address the position for the long term.

The Barron signing gives the Steelers insurance but I still think they are positioning themselves to trade up in round one to get a shot at one of the linebackers that will likely go early.

Bush fits the Steelers in that he gives them that well-ranged, sideline-to-sideline guy they have lacked since Ryan Shazier’s unfortunate injury. His skill set pairs well with current Steeler Vince Williams.

While Bush has a similar build to a thumping linebacker, his speed and quickness at that size allows him to cover sideline to sideline with ease and take on tight end and running back assignments.

Bush can supply the thunder and lightning both when needed which makes him a three down linebacker, which is becoming more and more coveted as the NFL evolves.

The Steelers are sitting pretty at 20th overall with plenty of capital to move up into the top half of the round to secure Bush. Do they pull the trigger if such a move is available? I believe they will, as they very well should.
