5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Deandre Baker, CB Georgia

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selecting cornerback Deandre Baker out of Georgia makes a lot of sense to me. The Buccaneers offense has pieces if new head coach, Bruce Arians can figure out quarterback Jameis Winston. The defense, however, is questionable at best, especially in the secondary. Baker didn’t run as well as you would like from a top player at the position but he is an instinctive corner that should be a day one starter in Tampa Bay.

6. New York Giants: Dwayne Haskins, QB Ohio State

The New York Football Giants appear to have fully embraced a rebuild. Last offseason they passed on Sam Darold, Josh Allen, Josh Rosen, and Lamar Jackson to take Saquon Barkley in an attempt to patch up their offense to make one more run. This offseason they chose to give up on repairing relationships with star wideout Odell Beckham Jr. and shipped him off to Cleveland for picks and a young safety. On top of that defensive starters in Landon Collins and Olivier Vernon are no longer around. It is time for the Giants to find a young quarterback to build around and one of the top two in this class could fall into their lap at number six.
