In the midst of the loudest and most drama-filled offseason in Pittsburgh Steelers history, a quarterback who’s played in the NFL for 14 years has suddenly been named racist.

It’s funny how no one in Pittsburgh is talking negatively about Ben Roethlisberger. Even Le’Veon Bell, the man who started all the noise a year ago, is backing off. It’s like he realized people have gone from complaining to making too much out of nothing. Like a crazy ex, as many are now calling Antonio Brown and his band of followers.

It’s AB, Josh Harris and Rashard Mendenhall versus the world. The three former Steelers, two of which most young fans don’t even realize played in Pittsburgh, one of which most older fans don’t realize played in the NFL, continue to bash their former team and the man who’s lead that team to three Super Bowls.

Now, the criticism of Ben has gone to a new extreme. Mendenhall, during a series of Tweets Wednesday night, called his former quarterback a racist, also pointing out that the man he was defending, Antonio Brown, is black.

At this point, we’ve hit a point where all this should’ve ended months ago. The arguments have gotten drastic. So drastic the man making them couldn’t even hold his ground an entire night. Proving once again that this is nothing more than a group of former players looking for any ounce of attention they can get.

It’s become irritating. Antonio Brown isn’t a Steeler anymore, Josh Harris’ credibility lasted two weeks and now Mendenhall is pushing this as much as AB. It’s time to start focusing on the team you’re currently on and leave Pittsburgh alone.

The fans have stopped caring, the players have had enough and at this point, the arguments have gone from little sense to none.
