The Pittsburgh Steelers will find out their journey to the playoffs in 2019 on Wednesday April 17 at 8pm EST.

After a sloppy 2018 season, an even worse offseason and continued noise from players the Pittsburgh Steelers are trying to forget exist, there is some light for this organization. On Wednesday, the Steelers will find out their 2019 regular season schedule and their road to redemption.

Along with the rest of the NFL, Pittsburgh will learn their journey on Wednesday, April 17 at 8pm EST. This marks one step closer to the season, less than two weeks before they’ll add their newest players in the 2019 NFL Draft.

For the fans, they’re likely hoping the Steelers see the New York Jets and Oakland Raiders at some point this year. The Jets have been confirmed as an opponent for the Steelers, meaning they’ll see Le’Veon Bell at some point this season. While Oakland isn’t a matchup for the Steelers, plenty of fans will be watching Antonio Brown’s performances throughout the year.

As the players returned to Pittsburgh for strength and conditioning workouts this week, they’re preparing to prove this team has only gotten better. Losing their two biggest stars in one offseason isn’t ideal, but for Pittsburgh, they believe removing the noise makes them a stronger team. They just want to headlines to stop and the football to begin. Ask Ramon Foster.

Less talent or not, this team seems more motivated than ever. James Conner began to prove his worth last season. Now, him and JuJu Smith-Schuster are even more determined to show the league that they’re just as good as the All-Pros they’re replacing.

Football is coming quick. As the summer approaches and the players begin to work, the excitement is only getting bigger. Pittsburgh is almost back to the field, and with plenty to prove in 2019, this season could be one to remember.
