Aaron Donald may be a hometown hero in Pittsburgh, but it isn’t because he plays for the Steelers. Well, at least not yet.

The city of Pittsburgh knows many things, but above most, they know football and sandwiches. Fans coming to the city never leave without stopping by the staple of Steel City food – Primanti Bros.

With all that power comes responsibility, though. Primanti Brothers can create the best sandwiches in Pittsburgh, but it isn’t the only service they’re bringing to the city. Along with offering top of the line flavor, they’re scouting for the Steelers.

No player in the NFL would be welcomed back to the Steel City than Aaron Donald. The former All-American at Pitt took his talents to the Los Angeles Rams, but for fans here in Pittsburgh, the city of rivers will always be his home.

So, if the Defensive Player of the Year is looking to come back, Primanti Bros would love to talk business.

Maybe Pittsburgh isn’t in need of a defensive end, but you can never have too many stars on the defensive side of the ball. Donald, Stephon Tuitt and Cameron Hayward would make one of the scariest defensive end trios in football. For a team who loves to get to the quarterback, having a two-time Defensive Player of the Year is an addition they wouldn’t hesitate to make.

It may all be fun and games, but the Steelers really wouldn’t mind if Primanti Bros made something happen to bring back Donald. Of course, no NFL team would be complaining to add the star, but if anyone is stealing him away from LA, you’d have to imagine it’d be a Pittsburgh sandwich shop.

He has a former teammate in James Conner who spends his offseason with the defensive end. These two would sure bring in the local fanbase if they were both dressed in black and yellow on Sundays.
