NFL Draft Profile. Defensive end. Clemson. player. 55. College Stats. AustinBryant. 6b

The Steelers beef up the defensive line again but this time focusing on the edge. Bryant is a long edge rusher with length to attack the corners and get by offensive tackles.

He falls this far due to his strength not being there. He is a bit smaller than you’d like and thus his play strength suffers for it.

With low strength comes struggling run defense and Bryant is no difference. His weaker play finds him overpowered by offensive linemen and he struggles to hold the point of attack.

With an NFL strength and conditioning program, Bryant could get himself stronger and able to utilize his natural traits to become a solid starter in the future. Right now, he is a mid to late day three pick and fell to the Steelers second sixth rounder in this simulation.
