The Pittsburgh Steelers released their summer schedule, giving dates for OTAs and Minicamp during the month of June.

It’s going to be a fun and enjoyable summer for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Not only do they not have to worry about guys like Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell anymore, but they have a top tier draft class and one of the most motivated rosters in the NFL.

For the first time in two years, the Pittsburgh Steelers have nothing to worry about but football. No contracts, no headlines, just position battles and getting ready for a Super Bowl run. If it works, it’ll be pretty easy to see where the problems were in the last few seasons.

They’ll kick their summer off the way they always do with OTAs and Minicamp. Before entering Training Camp, this team will spend most of June getting through their first part of their summer workout plans.

Steelers OTA and Minicamp Schedule:

OTAs: May 21-23, May 28-30 and June 3-6.

Minicamp: June 11-13.

It’s another step forward towards the season. Pittsburgh had a successful free agency and an even better draft. They’ll bring plenty of position battles to the field such as cornerback and backup running back. With a new group of wide receivers and tight ends, the competition is endless come June.

Football is back, almost. The Steelers may have lost talent this offseason but they gained a tighter bounder a bigger chip on their shoulder. If the rookie class can come and compete and the signings fill the voids they need to, this team will be better than they were before losing Brown and Bell.

It’ll be an interesting two months before the preseason begins. Now, they’re looking to find the best 53-man roster they could and place players in positions to win. If everything works out, the Pittsburgh Steelers will bounce back from an off 2018 season.
