The hype of the NFL Draft is starting to dwindle down, and it’s time to take a closer look it see how our division rivals fared with their results.

The Cleveland Browns were the talk of the off-season – acquiring Odell Beckham Jr. in a trade with the Giants. Some have called them the favorite to win the AFC North this season, but I wouldn’t go that far.

I recently broke down each team from the AFC North and analyzed their selections. Here are my thoughts:

BENGALS: C+

Round 1: (No. 11 overall) Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama.
Round 2: (52) Drew Sample, TE, Washington.
Round 3: (72) Germaine Pratt, LB, N.C. State.
Round 4: (104) Ryan Finley, QB, N.C. State; (125) Renell Wren, DT, Arizona State; (136) Michael Jordan, OG, Ohio State.
Round 6: (182) Trayveon Williams, RB, Texas A&M; (210) Deshaun Davis, LB, Auburn; (211)Rodney Anderson, RB, Oklahoma.
Round 7: (223) Jordan Brown, CB, South Dakota State.

The Bengals landed a true first round prospect in offensive tackle Jonah Williams. Outside of him, I thought Drew Sample was one of the biggest reaches in the draft in the 2nd round and Germaine Pratt was an okay 3rd round choice. Renell Wren has a lot of upside and was probably their best day three selection.
