34. Max Starks, LT (2004)

Offensive lineman are often lost in the shuffle, but who could forget about Max Starks. Steelers drafted Starks all the way back in the 3rd round of the 2004 NFL Draft.

Not only was Starks a mountain of a man (listed at 6’8” and 345 pounds) he was also a long-time starter on the Steelers offensive line. Starks posted 96 starts with the Steelers over the course of 8 seasons, though he played a total of 10 seasons in the NFL.

Max Starks served as an unmovable anchor to the Steelers offensive line, and was a staple through the golden years that saw Pittsburgh win two Super Bowls and and play in a third.

Though Starks failed to make a Pro Bowl his career than spanned a decade from 2004 to 2013, he was still, by most accounts, considered one of the better offensive tackles Pittsburgh has had in their lucrative history.

Starks may have flown under the radar in Pittsburgh, but his contributions to the organization cannot be understated.
