29. Joe Haden, CB (2010)

There aren’t many players who made my ‘Top 30 Steelers of the 2000’s’ list with just two years of experience in a black and yellow uniform, but Haden is one of them.

Joe Haden is as solid as a cornerback that the Steelers have had since Ike Taylor in his later years. Haden is a physical, long-armed corner that provides sticky coverage.

Unlike most cornerbacks to put on that Steelers uniform in the 2000s, Joe Haden has a knack for taking the ball away. He has done it three times since 2017 but has a whopping 29 interceptions in his 11-year career.

Though his interception totals have taken a dip since coming to Pittsburgh, Haden has proven to be a leader and the most stable piece in the Steelers secondary.

Joe Haden is now 32 years old, and his prime years left in the tank are dwindling down. His journey with the Cleveland Browns was excellent as he was a two-time Pro Bowler and was considered one of the best cornerbacks in the league. However, in a Steelers uniform, Haden finds himself just 29th on this list.
