26. Stephon Tuitt, DL (2014)

Stephon ‘do it’ Tuitt is a big powerful staple to the Steelers’ defensive line. Much Like 2019 rookie linebacker, Devin Bush, Tuitt was just 20 years old until after the NFL Draft.

Because Tuitt entered the league at such a young age, he is already entering his 6th NFL season despite turning just 26 years old in May.

Stephon Tuitt flashed as a 22-year-old back in 2015 with 6.5 sacks, an additional 8 tackles for a loss, and an interception. However, nagging injuries have slowed him throughout his career and he has never played a 16-game season because of them.

Last year, Tuitt fought through an elbow injury that hindered his 2018 season. However, he still managed 5.5 sacks and received an 81.8 overall grade from Pro Football Focus a season ago.

Tuitt reminds me much of a poor man’s Aaron Smith in terms of his ability to stuff the run and anchor at the point of attack. However, Tuitt flashes potential at times that is even greater.

Tuitt was finally healthy in 2020, and it showed. In 15 games he earned 11.0 sacks, 10 tackles for a loss, and 25 quarterback hits. The powerful defensive lineman should still have some great years ahead of him.
