The Tennessee Volunteers have four players on the Steelers roster and I think that is the most of any school. The four are also key contributors to the team. I’m going to guess that all four will make the team and they are Ramon Foster, Josh Dobbs, Cameron Sutton and Dan McCullers. Ramon Foster is the left guard for the Steelers and could arguably be the captain if Ben Roethlisberger wasn’t on the team. He is still a major leader. Josh Dobbs could potentially be the backup quarterback for the Steelers and will at least be one of the three kept on the roster. Cameron Sutton is probably the Steelers top backup in slot and on the outside at cornerback. Dan McCullers will probably be the backup nose tackle and will get a helmet on gamedays.

The Steelers seemed to like Tennessee’s quarterbacks in 2018. As I mentioned before, they drafted Josh Dobbs in the fourth round. They also brought in backup quarterback Keller Chryst to tryout for the team in minicamp. I would imagine with so many Steelers on the team that the Steelers had a good relationship with the Butch Jones’s coaching staff. Hopefully, the Steelers can maintain that relationship with Jeremy Pruitt’s staff.

Tennessee Football has been an elite program for a while although they have struggled as of late. I don’t expect them to do much in the SEC but they are still from an elite conference and would have a better record in almost any other conference. Some players to watch from the Tennessee Volunteers are Jarrett Guarantano and Marquez Callaway.
