The Steelers took the field for their 4th training camp practice of the year. Here were some of the best sights and sounds from Monday’s practice in Latrobe.

The Steelers practice on Monday was a bit lighter than Sunday’s showing. Though there were some heavy hits involved, Pittsburgh ran many different drills today and excluded wide receivers vs defensive backs (which always seems to get the crowd going).

Rocky Bleier was in attendance for the Steelers 4th training camp practice of the year, and many fans got their picture taken with him. It was a scorcher in Latrobe, but thousands of fans suffered through the relentless heat to watch their team.

Here are some of the best sights and sounds from Monday’s training camp:

Notes:

There were some awesome moments during Monday’s practice. Ben Roethlisberger returned from a veterans day off and got the ball rolling with a few pretty deep balls down the field.

JuJu had a few ‘wow’ moments (as we have come accustomed to seeing). He got the crowd roaring during a blocking drill when he drove Justin Layne back 20 yards. The two players had a bit of a scuffle at the end, but shook hands and got back in line.

Ola Adeniyi continues to be one of the most impressive players at camp. I can’t get over how often he wins with power, bend, and savvy hand usage. Keep your eye on that young man during preseason this year.

Overall, it was good practice in Latrobe, and the Steelers came away without any key injuries. Let’s hope this run of good health continues. Stay tuned for updates.
