The Pittsburgh Steelers kick off their first preseason game against the Buccaneers tonight. Here are five burning questions that need answered.

The Steelers head into their first preseason game against the Buccaneers and it will take place on Friday, August 9th. They will probably rest their main guys but we’ll probably get a look at a lot of the younger players on the team. I have set up five questions for the first game that will be answered during the first preseason game.

Of course, training camp has been going on but the game action will provide the fans and team with more insight into the abilities of these young players.

Special teams will especially be important as that is the area that is best tested and only tested in games. It is too dangerous to simulate special teams plays in practice and so the game will tell us where these players are at in the third phase.

This is also the long anticipated first game of the season. Steeler fans have been without Steeler games since late December. Now they will get to see their team in action and get to see if this 2019 team can build on a disappointing 2018.

I have below five questions that will be answered by watching the first game.
