The Pittsburgh Steelers dodged a bullet by ditching Antonio Brown this offseason. Here’s how he just gave drama a whole new meaning.

I don’t know if there has ever been a fan base that was so happy to get rid of a future Hall of Fame player. But if we didn’t already, Steelers fans know for sure that we made the right move.

Antonio Brown has gone off the deep end. In a recent tweet from Adam Schefter, Brown threatened to quit football it he doesn’t get to use his old helmet:

Brown has been at the center of media attention all offseason, and the drama is not about to let up anytime soon. After forcing his way out of Pittsburgh and self-vetoing a trade that would have sent him to the Buffalo Bills, Brown took his drama with him to Oakland.

After sitting out all of training camp with blisters on his feet, Brown has reportedly threatened the organization if he doesn’t get his way (something that we have become all too familiar with).

Jon Gruden has expressed his dissatisfaction in Antonio Brown’s inability to get on the practice field. This news comes as the latest distraction to the Oakland Raiders.

Antonio Brown’s drama is far from over. Though I don’t actually expect him to retire if he doesn’t get his way, it’s not a good sign that he is already at the center of attention for all the wrong reasons in Oakland. Get your popcorn ready! It’s going to be fun to watch this unfold from the other side.
