The Steelers are less than a month away from the regular season kickoff. Here are three players who could make or break the team in 2019.

One could continue on and on about how a single Steelers player doesn’t determine how the Steeler’s 53 man roster will perform throughout the season. “There’s no I in team”, “Everyone is needed, but no one is necessary”, “teamwork makes the dream work”.. I could go on and on.

To be completely honest, it’s a fair assessment! While there is certainly a hierarchy of important positions on the football field (QB, EDGE, LT, etc..), not a single one matters more than the team in its entirety. Every Steelers fan knows that individual talent can only take a team so far. A hall of fame quarterback, a stellar offensive line, the best receiver, and the most talented running back in the league couldn’t bring Pittsburgh within sniffing distance of a Lombardi.

I’m not going to dive into the past. We know how the story has been written thus far. The days of the Killer B’s are over. However, I’m of the state of mind that we must learn from our mistakes to improve in the future. (more football cliché’s”)

So rather than telling you that the Steelers season relies entirely on Ben, which to an extent it does. I can give you THREE players that will determine whether the Steelers succeed or flop in 2019.
