How will the first team defense look?

There is no shortage of draft picks that have been invested in this defense. But when are we going to get a return on that investment? The secondary will probably be more stable after adding Steven Nelson, and Terrell Edmunds has a year under his belt.

The linebacker core should be better too with Devin Bush being added to the middle. If he keeps up his production, he could be the heir to Ryan Shazier’s position. The defensive line is already the strength of this team.

However, I want to know how they look in a stadium in an actual game. How does this new defense mesh together? Will we see growth from players like Bud Dupree? Only a couple of the starters on the offense played in the first preseason game; so, this should be the opportunity to see what the Steelers have in their defense.
