The Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Tennessee to play the Titans on Sunday night. Here are three big things to look for as we approach the third preseason game.
In the Steel City, Primanti Bros serves Steelers Nation some legendary sandwiches. Served between two thick slices of Italian bread, you’ll find fresh deli meat, perfectly melted cheese, and topped with a beautiful trio: fresh cut fries, slaw, and tomato slices. This week, I’ll break down the three big things to look for as we approach the third Preseason game for the Steelers.
We’re halfway to the Steelers 2019 regular season! This also means it’s dress rehearsal week! With Jeremy Fowler of ESPN confirming the more-than-likely preseason debut of Ben Roethlisberger, the offense and defense will be on full display in Nashville for Sunday Night Football.
With that being said, let’s take a look at the big things to look for at Nissan Stadium:
Slaw: Wide Receivers
With Roethlisberger making his preseason debut, we will get a glimpse of the offense on full display. With James Washington producing 8 receptions for 162 yards and a touchdown, he is giving the early tabbed number two receiver Donte Moncrief an early run for his money—who had a fumble on his only offensive touch again Kansas City last week.
There is also the slot receiver spot heating up between Diontae Johnson, Eli Rogers, and Ryan Switzer. There will be more than enough opportunities these next two weeks for them to make their individual case for the slot receiver (and maybe even roster) spot.
