Losers:

Donte Moncrief

The new Steelers weapon wasn’t very threatening to the Patriots on Sunday night. Moncrief was the most targeted receiver on the team (10 targets), but he managed just 3 catches for 7 yards. He had three drops, and he and Ben were not on the same page.

Mark Barron

Barron was beaten constantly by running backs in this contest. The Steelers brought in the former safety to add speed to the middle of the defense, but Mark Barron struggled big-time staying with Rex Burkhead and James White out of the backfield. He needs to sharpen things up next week.

Ben Roethlisberger

Ben was well protected tonight, but he routinely missed receivers. JuJu and company failed to create separation at times, but Roethlisberger looked rusty out there. Ben completed just 27 of 47 passes and his 65.6 passer rating was only half as good as Tom Brady’s 124.9.

Kameron Kelly

Kam Kelly filled in for the injured Sean Davis against the Patriots. Although he had a solid training camp and preseason, Kelly was picked on frequently by Tom Brady in week one. The former AAF safety looked completely lost at times, and Brady was able to manipulate him all over the field. Not a good showing in his first action as a Steeler.
