Oakland Raiders

The Steelers favorite trade partner of late, so why not? They’ve taken two Steelers with off the field issues–what’s to stop them from getting one that doesn’t for once?

The Raiders again find themselves with pass-rush issues since trading Khalil Mack. With the Raiders sitting at 1-2, they are still in the race for the playoffs (as is everyone, but statistically speaking…) Who is to say that they wouldn’t take a chance to bring a new set of legs into the pass rush?

The Raiders have $28 Million in space so financially this wouldn’t be a wallet-busting trade. There’s always the chance as stated before that the new scenery and scheme could benefit Mr. Dupree.

The chances of this deal between these three teams are probably less than likely, but financially and compensation wise it makes more sense than the 28 other groups not mentioned.

Let’s say Mayock and Gruden think it’s a beneficial move. They would probably offer a late-round pick. It’s a deal that the Steelers would have to have full confidence in the players waiting in the wings. But, the past couple of years, the trades have been relatively unpredictable… so anything could happen, right?

While the Steelers will probably not end up trading Bud Dupree simply for the sake of defensive continuity and the questions of the backups; if the right team and price come along who knows? They would over a month to decide if they get some offers.

The Steelers could select their smallest draft class since 2003. dark. Next
