The Steelers are playing to salvage the season in week four. A loss here and the Steelers are out of things.

The Steelers host the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football at Heinz Field. This is a matchup of 0-3 teams with the loser being somewhat eliminated from the postseason. It is tough to make the playoffs when a team goes 0-4.

The only team to make the playoffs after an 0-4 start was the 1992 San Diego Chargers. Other than that, it has never been done. That gives the Steelers really low odds if they lose this game. It also is a bad sign if this team can’t beat the 0-3 Cincinnati Bengals at home.

I do think the Steelers will win this game, but this team has disappointed me every game this season. We have come to expect the Steelers to win because of our recent success. The last time the team was below 8-8 was before Mike Tomlin was hired.

One of the significant weaknesses of this team has been losing franchise quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Mason Rudolph has had trouble moving the ball and offense has become the weakness as opposed to the defense in recent history.

Here is the first of my five burning questions for this week.
