The Pittsburgh Steelers are searching for their first win of the season. A good game from these five players on Monday night could make that happen.

It’s hard to stomach three consecutive losses to start the season. So far the Steelers have been blown out by the New England Patriots, and lost close matchups against the Seahawks and 49ers.

Though history tells us that the Steelers have just a 3.4 percent chance to make the playoffs this year (something I’m sure you were all dying to hear), the Houston Texans were able to defy the odds just last season after beginning the year 0-3.

However, in order for the Steelers to stand a chance, there are a few players who will need to step up their game. Here are five players all fans should be watching as the Steelers take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football:

Mason Rudolph

This one couldn’t get much more obvious. Rudolph is at the center of attention in Pittsburgh, and for good reason. The second-year quarterback looked very promising in his first NFL action when he was forced to play the second half of the game against the Seahawks. However, it was an entirely different story against the 49ers last week.

Rudolph struggled big-time in San Francisco as he completed just 51 percent of his passes for 174 yards with 2 touchdowns and an interception. Though there was plenty of blame to go around, Rudolph didn’t reach the lofty expectations he had entering his first NFL start.

Mason Rudolph will have a chance to redeem himself at home during a primetime game this week. The Cincinnati Bengals have been one of the worst defenses in the league through three weeks, and the Steelers quarterback will have a chance to light up a pedestrian secondary. If he can take advantage, the Steelers stand a great shot in this one.
