3 players who stood out in the win over the Bengals

The Steelers earned their first win of the season Monday night. It was a great team effort as the home team dominated this contest 27-3. There were 3 players who stood out in the win over the Bengals.
I could feel the sense of urgency the Steelers had. They played hard and gave a maximum effort that I have not seen all season. I don’t believe they made many mistakes besides a first-quarter fumble by Diontae Johnson.
There was some unique playcalling. The Steelers used a wildcat formation with Jaylen Samuels as the QB. They really focused on running the ball and getting the ball in the hands of their running backs in space. Jaylen Samuels and James Conner were both the highest targeted players in the passing game.
My hats go off to the offensive scheme. It was a run and short pass-oriented attack. The running backs were the most heavily targeted as I said but there was lots of motion to get the players space. When they had the ball in their hands they made plays. They both scored touchdowns on the night.
When you hold your opponents to 3 points you know that the Defense did a great job. The Defensive line really dominated the offense and didn’t give Andy Dalton much time to throw and not much room for Joe Mixon to run.
The Defense also made a bunch of plays that stopped potential drives. The team really impressed me overall tonight and I am sure they put smiles on the faces of all Steeler fans across the US.
