How will Devlin Hodges do in his first start?

It’s not guaranteed that Devlin Hodges will start this week, but it is my best guess. Mason Rudolph is recovering from a brutal concussion. He is also ruled out for this week. He has seemed to improve better this week, though, as he was limited the first two days of the week. There is a chance that he gets out of Concussion Protocol by Sunday.

I am hoping Mason Rudolph gets healthy, but I would like to see Devlin Hodges start for two reasons. The first reason is that I want Mason Rudolph to take plenty of time to recover. The second reason is that I want to see what Pittsburgh has in Devlin Hodges.

Devlin Hodges has looked better than any third-string quarterback that the Steelers have had. He is confident in the pocket and does not look phased by the situation. He seemed to make the best of his appearances in the third-string. He also looked effective coming in for Mason Rudolph.

I think this could be a turning point in the Steelers season. If Devlin Hodges is effective at getting the passing game going, the Steelers could improve. Hodges might be their best chance at getting the season turned around.
