Steelers snap counts: Players who have played too much and too little

Players who need more snaps:
Ola Adeniyi
Ola Adeniyi is a player who should hear his name called more often for several reasons. As I mentioned earlier, the Steelers are running Bud Dupree into the ground with his snap counts. Ola could help alleviate some usage for him.
Also, Anthony Chickillo has been a non-factor on the football field this season. He has earned 27 percent, 13 percent, and 24 percent of snaps, respectively, in the three games he has played in this season. However, he has just 1 tackle and half a sack to show for it.
It’s also unclear what Pittsburgh will decide to do with Chickillo moving forward following his arrest. Jacob Klinger of Penn Live reported that Chickillo did not practice with the team on Monday.
Regardless of their reasoning, Ola is a player who has had back-to-back dominant preseasons to start his career but has seen just 8 percent of defensive snaps for the Steelers. He should be given a chance to see the field more.
dark. Next. Should Henry Mondeaux get a chance with the Steelers after Stephon Tuitt’s injury?
The Steelers haven’t done a lousy job managing snaps counts so far by my standards, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t some players I would like to see more and others that I would like to see much less of. It will be interesting to see how they manage snap counts in the second half of the season.
