The Steelers come off of a much-needed bye week to heal up and prepare for their final 10 games. The winless Dolphins come into town for the first time in 6 years.

The last time the Steelers hosted the Dolphins on Monday Night Football, I was in 8th grade. Joey Porter saw it as a revenge game and it was a sloppy one.

The Steelers won on a last-second field goal and escaped with a 3-0 victory–tied for the lowest scoring game since the merger. This Dolphins team may not be any better than the 2007 squad. Miami is led by Ryan Fitzpatrick and they look to get their first win–granted they haven’t committed to tank mode completely.

The Steelers come in only two wins away from a .500 record. Though this feels like a Tomlin trap game special, it is one the Steelers should dominate.

Not only is this game an opportunity to build confidence and beat up on another bad team, but it’s also an opportunity to get gears shifting that hasn’t to this point.

Mason Rudolph returns after a scary hit that knocked him out (literally) of a game and a half–leading to the Duck Dynasty to getting his shot to lead the Steelers to victory.

Despite the Dolphins being double-digit underdogs, there will be three matchups to watch that will be key not only in this game but for the rest of the season.
