Who is this team when they are healthy?
This Steelers team is much healthier this week then they were against the Chargers. Against the Chargers, they were missing six players from their active roster. This week, only three players are listed as questionable.
The three players that are listed as questionable are Mark Barron, Ulysees Gilbert, and Jaylen Samuels. Those are the Steeler’s only injuries on the active roster.
The Black & Gold sound like they are a bit thin at the inside linebacker position, but it isn’t a huge problem. Vince Williams and Devin Bush can start, and Tyler Matakevich can be the top backup.
This isn’t the amount of depth they are used to, but this is the position with the most significant injury problems. It is also possible that both Gilbert and Barron Play.
Jaylen Samuels is listed as questionable, and that is actually better than I thought it would be. The fact that he is close to coming back is a good sign. The Steelers also have depth at running back behind Conner with Snell and Trey Edmunds in an emergency.
