The Pittsburgh Steelers hosted the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football. Here are the winners and losers from the game.

The Steelers certainly didn’t have the start that they hoped for, but the end result was one that was desperately needed. After the Dolphins scored 14 unanswered points to begin the game, Pittsburgh finally kicked things into gear – outscoring Miami 27-0 from the second quarter on.

Though things looked dicey in the first half, the Steelers eventually pulled away. They advanced to 3-4 on the season after starting 0-3 to begin the year.

Here are the winners and losers from their 27-14 win over the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football:

Winners:

Minkah Fitzpatrick

Every time I start to think that the Steelers might be wishing for their first-round pick back that they gave Miami in a trade earlier this season, Minkah Fitzpatrick impresses in a big way. the former Dolphins safety and 11th overall pick in 2018 had not one, but two interceptions for the Steelers this week. He’s really been worth the price tag so far, and is proving to be one of the most important players in a Steelers uniform this year.

James Conner

James Conner had by far his best game of the season – churning out 145 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries. It was the first time he had eclipsed 100 rushing yards in a single game this season. The former Pittsburgh Panther was playing with a fire lit underneath him in this contest. Unfortunately, he was seen hobbling off the field late in the fourth quarter when the game was already out of reach. Let’s hope his injury is nothing serious.
