How will Mason Rudolph look coming off a concussion?

Mason Rudolph did not look good on the first drive. He lobbed up an interception that the Miami defender caught easily. He needed to place the ball better on that throw. The Dolphins were able to capitalize on that turnover.

On the first two drives, Mason Rudolph was 1 for 6 for 14 yards and almost threw a second interception. He then also nearly fumbled on a drive early in the second quarter. Their offense looked horrible at that point.

There was a crucial third-down conversion by Rudolph that sparked the Steelers moving the ball. The drive ended in a field goal, which was a start for the Steelers. The Steelers were also able to get a touchdown at the end of the first half after a great run after the catch by Diontae Johnson.

Mason Rudolph looked better in the second half, and I can’t help but think he was a little gun-shy in the first half after his concussion. I wasn’t impressed overall, but I do think the concussion played a more significant role in the Steeler’s slow start than is being told by major media sources.

How will the Steelers do against a bad team?

The Steelers had a poor start against a bad team, and it looked as though they may have been affected the bye’s hangover. The Dolphins were quick out of the gate, getting a 14-0 lead by the second quarter. As I said before, I think Mason Rudolph was a little gun-shy at the beginning of the Dolphins game.

The Steelers won against the Dolphins, but I don’t think they played their best football. I believe they disappointed despite winning against a lousy team. I do give them credit for leaving the stadium with a win, though. It could have been worse.
