With the Colts rolling into the Steel City, the Steelers are one win away from a 4-4 record. The Colts are no easy opponent, however.

What if I told you that despite losing Ben Roethlisberger, Stephon Tuitt, having them start their 3rd string quarterback, and suffering multiple skill position players to injuries, the Steelers would have a pulse in week 9?

You probably would’ve thought I knocked back too many Iron Cities after the Roethlisberger fact. But here we are…

After two consecutive wins, the 2019 Steelers are still alive (barely.) Now they look to continue that winning streak against a tough Colts team.

This team currently leads their division and don’t have plans to let it slip from their grasp. After many counted them out after Andrew Luck retired, including me, Jacoby Brissett has led the way with 14 touchdown passes–playing at a fantastic level.

Last week he made a big-time throw to T.Y. Hilton to drive the Colts to a game-winner off the foot of Vinatieri. The Colts were given fits all game long but fought their way back.

Much like the Colts, the Black & Gold had to claw their way back on Monday night to create a win. From boo-birds to cheers, the Steelers were led by James Conner’s first 100-yard rushing game of the season.

This week Conner may not be available along with Snell, putting pressure on the thinned out depth at running back.

The Steelers will have to continue to improve and play at a high level to win this week and the rest of the way. Here is what they must do…
