The Steelers edged out the Colts last week, and now they sit at 4-4. Things are looking up as the Steelers have won three in a row.

The Steelers have won three in a row, and now things are starting to look good for Pittsburgh. They are safely in second place in the division and have a chance to catch the high flying Baltimore Ravens.

The Ravens did come off an impressive win where they beat the then-undefeated Patriots on Monday Night Football. Still, the Steelers are only two games back with half of the season to go.

The fact that we can even see a path to the playoffs is a credit to the job Mike Tomlin has done this season, keeping the Steelers focused. It was only a month or two ago when fans were calling for him to be fired.

What will the running back room look like this week?

Jaylen Samuels got the start this week and looked good at the beginning. He had a nice run on a screen for the opening drive. I thought overall, the team had a good game running the ball. Trey Edmunds had a surprising breakaway run early in the game.

The downside is that I do think Tony Brooks-James did have trouble finding space to run. He is the type of back that needs space to be effective. He didn’t get many carries, and his primary role was to be depth on the gameday roster.

The three active running backs were Jaylen Samuels, Trey Edmunds, and Tony Brooks-James. It looks like Brooks-James will be on the roster this week, too, as there are plenty of injuries to the running back room.
