Will BJ Finney start this week at left guard?

I would say the Steelers defensive line did not dominate as they usually do against the Colts offensive line. Even when Brian Hoyer was in the game, the Colts were able to move the ball and win at the line of scrimmage.

Heyward whiffed on a sack on Brian Hoyer. It led to a touchdown on the next play, so that hurt the Steelers. It didn’t end up costing the Black & Gold the game, though, as Vinatieri missed the field goal at the end of the game.

According to Pro Football Reference, Cameron Heyward had six total tackles and one QB hit. I would say that it is okay since Heyward was going against an all-pro left guard. It wasn’t Heyward’s best day, but he did matchup against an all-pro guard.

Heyward also blocked an extra point that wasn’t against Quenton Nelson but is impressive nonetheless.

How will the Steelers do against Jacoby Brissett?

Jacoby Brissett looked good on the first drive. He was moving the ball smoothly. The Steelers were able to hold him to a field goal on the opening drive after a sack with good hustle by Bud Dupree. The Colt’s offense looked good for the first quarter and change.

There was a scary moment when Jacoby Brissett was on the ground in the second quarter holding his leg. He left the game, and Brian Hoyer came in and threw a quick touchdown. He moved the ball very well despite a Minkah Fitzpatrick pick-six.

Although Brissett was injured during the game, Brian Hoyer did a nice job in relief. I thought Brissett played well when he was in the game and could have very well won the game if he wasn’t injured in the second quarter.
