Foster/Finney/DeCastro vs Aaron Donald

For the first time in nearly six years, Aaron Donald will play on Heinz Field’s grass. He remains a local hero and legend.

This week, the Steelers’ interior offensive line will have to face the dominance of Donald. It won’t be an easy task at all.

While DeCastro is by far the best player on the offensive line, the Rams are smarter than to matchup Donalds on him–at least consistently. The pressure will be on Finney or Foster.

If the Steelers offensive coordinator is smart, he will find ways to chip and double team, Donald. Not only that, but there will have to be an established ground game and quick passing game.

If Foster remains in the concussion protocol, it will be BJ Finney for a second consecutive week. The good news? They’re 9-1 with him in the lineup.

The Steelers offensive line has allowed an NFL low 8 sacks this season while the Rams have racked up 23 sacks; five by the big man himself.

Remember last year, though, Aaron Darnold had a relatively slow start through the first three games of the year before going on a tirade. He hasn’t had a slow start per se, but he is primed for his best football to be played this year.
