Will Tomlin be able to outsmart Sean McVay?

Our very own Brandon Kring wrote about how Mike Tomlin deserves a round of applause. Mike Tomlin has done a good job of keeping the team together after losing Ben Roethlisberger and Stephon Tuitt.

Tomlin will still have a very tough test this week going against Sean McVay. Sean McVay is brilliant and has helped a lot of his assistants get Head Coaching jobs like Zac Taylor of the Cincinnati Bengals. There was a joke that anyone who has met Sean McVay is in line for a head coaching job.

Sean McVay has won as a head coach. In only two and a half years as a Head Coach, McVay has a 29-11 record and has already taken his team to the Super Bowl. This record is according to Pro Football Reference.

Mike Tomlin has been a winner in his career and has been especially good at not having bad teams. He has never been less than 8-8 and that has been over 13 years.

My worry about Tomlin is that he has had trouble in big games. He has had trouble against Bill Belichick in his career and McVay is similar in quality of coach. McVay is a bit more offensive-minded than Belichick though.

So the question is, who will win this week. Mike Tomlin or Sean McVay?
