Will Juju play this week?

Juju Smith-Schuster dressed for the game against the Rams. There was a scare because he was limited on Friday and listed as questionable for this game. Juju had a bad drop on third down on the second drive of the game. He picked it up a little bit as the game went on despite going against Jalen Ramsey.

According to Pro Football Reference, Juju had three receptions for 44 yards. This is not Juju Smith-Schuster’s best stat line by a long shot. I would best explain his value in this game as occupying Jalen Ramsey who is one of the best corners in the league. Juju may not have produced a lot, but he took Ramsey away and opened things up for James Washington and Diontae Johnson.

Conclusion

A lot of good has come from this game and I am feeling confident about this team. I think their defense can keep them in games and I think Mike Tomlin can make the right decisions in situational football.

There were a lot of drops by the Steelers wide receivers and the running backs are banged up. I think this team can improve on the offensive side of the ball if they shore up that part of the game.

One underrated aspect of this team is the run blocking from their offensive line. This offensive line is opening up holes for young and inexperienced running backs to run through. Kudos to Matt Feiler for doing a good job kicking inside and containing Aaron Donald.

Now this team is on a short week against the Cleveland Browns. The Browns have been pretty wild as of late but won their last game against a strong Bills team. They will need to recover quickly to play their division foes.
