3. Cameron Heyward

Number three on my list of Steelers I am most thankful for this year is star defensive lineman, Cameron Heyward. The former All-Pro is now 30 years old, but age could not be kinder to him.

After receiving All-Pro honors in 2017 and two straight Pro Bowl appearances, Heyward is having the best season of his career – even without his right-hand man, Stephon Tuitt, battling it out next to him.

Heyward has already earned more tackles this year than he did in 16 games last season to go with his 6.5 sacks, 8 tackles for a loss, and 4 pass defenses this year. Heyward has also been credited with 16 quarterback hits so far, and could even surpass the 22 he earned as an All-Pro player in 2017.

This man is one of the most consistent football players every time he steps on the field, and he deserves recognition for his contributions this year. I am certainly thankful for Cameron Heyward this season.
