The Steelers are now 7-5 and are in the inside of the AFC playoff picture as the sixth seed. They will need to win this week to keep pace to make the playoffs.

The Steelers have played good football as of late. They are on a two-game winning streak thanks to good defense and situational football. Devlin Hodges might be the reason this team makes the playoffs.

Hodges started as a tryout player at the beginning of the season. He made the team after a tryout and was then the fourth-string quarterback in training camp. He did well throughout the preseason when called upon. He was let go so that the Steelers could keep Josh Dobbs.

Hodges got a second chance when Josh Dobbs was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a fifth-round pick. He was their practice squad quarterback until Ben Roethlisberger got hurt. He was then promoted to backup quarterback.

An injury to Mason Rudolph gave him a chance to show what he could do and he beat the Chargers. The Steelers remembered this when Mason Rudolph was struggling and brought him in to give them the edge in the Bengals win. He then won the second meeting against the Browns.

Now the Steelers have a quarterback who could lead them to the playoffs.

Let’s take a look at my five burning questions going into their game in Arizona.
