Who will come up with turnovers for the Steelers defense?
The Steelers are coming up with turnovers in 2019 and that is a far cry from the lack of turnovers in 2018. Bud Dupree commented on this:
Now it’s about who’s gonna get the turnover. All eleven guys in the field are capable of making plays, so it’s more so who’s gonna step up in that moment and make the turnover. Is it gonna be a front five guy, is gonna be a secondary guy? We take pride in that. We want to keep it going and keep it alive for the rest of these three games we have for the season, and hopefully into the playoffs.
This was a bold statement for the Steelers outside linebacker but the Steelers have earned the ability to talk that way. According to Pro Football Reference, the Steelers have gone from being 28th in the league in turnovers in 2018 to being second in the NFL in turnovers in 2019.
So the question is, who is going to come up with the turnovers against the Bills?
