Matt Feiler: Medium Priority

Matt Feiler was dirt cheap this year – playing for just $645,000. However, that doesn’t mean he wasn’t good. Feiler was a staple to this offensive line in 2019 and was arguably their most consistent lineman outside of David DeCastro.

Feiler earned the highest marks among Steelers offensive lineman this year, according to Pro Football Focus. His 75.1 overall grade was the highest grade among any Steelers offensive player, and he ranked 19th among all NFL tackles.

Unlike former starters Kelvin Beachum and Chris Hubbard, Feiler has incredible strength for the position, and his departure from the team could spell worse things ahead for Pittsburgh. It would be wise to put a high tender on Feiler to keep him from hitting the market.

Javon Hargrave: Medium Priority

Sure, the Steelers would love to get Javon Hargrave back next season, but it’s just not likely to happen. Pittsburgh has already made heavy financial investments into their defensive line with Stephon Tuitt and Cameron Heyward, and they can ill-afford to pay Hargrave the number he will be seeking.

Even with Stephon Tuitt out for most of the year, Hargrave managed to play just 62 percent of defensive snaps this season. There will be other teams out there willing to make Hargrave a full-time starter, and that’s where he will go.
