Blake Jarwin

The Dallas Cowboys Tight End will be turning 26 this upcoming season and after playing behind Hall of Famer, Jason Witten, most of his career, the Tight End will be looking for an opportunity to become the starter somewhere. Jarwin, when given the chance, has excelled as a pass-catcher.

In his only true test as a starting tight end, in week 17 of the 2018 season, Jarwin torched the New York Giants for a career-high 119 yards and 3 touchdowns. This type of production is unheard of from the tight end position and adding a player with this type of ability would greatly improve the Steelers offense.

Unfortunately, Jason Witten returned to football this past season causing Jarwin to sit behind him once again. Although he was the backup, Jarwin still finished the season with 365 yards and 3 touchdowns. Even with limited snaps, Jarwin still produced at a respectable level for a backup tight end.

With limited tread on his tires, Jarwin will be itching for the chance to take the reins as a full-time starter. It is worthwhile for the Steelers to look into him as an option for next season. Signing him could pay off huge dividends for the team and add an element to the offense that his been lacking.
