With Senior Bowl week now over, NFL teams are beginning to set their sites on the next step. Here are five players the Steelers should be targeting in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Senior Bowl is an opportunity for draft-eligible football players to set themselves apart from the rest of the pack. After a week of practice and the Senior Bowl game on Saturday, there are many players who did exactly that, and the Steelers brass was on hand taking notes.

While there will be plenty of players who will go well above where Pittsburgh is picking at 49 overall, there are several Senior Bowl standouts who have the potential to fall into that range. Here are five players who should be on the Steelers radar as we begin early preparations for the NFL Draft:

Lloyd Cushenburry III

Interior offensive line, LSU

After watching all of the offensive line/defensive line reps a couple of times over, Llyod Cushenburry was by far the most consistent interior offensive lineman at the Senior Bowl. Though Cushenburry was a center for the Tigers, he has the size (6’3”, 312 pounds) and athleticism to kick to any position along the interior offensive line.

Ramon Foster is 34 years old and B.J. Finney is an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Cushenburry could be a long-time starter along the offensive line for the Steelers and Pittsburgh could even choose to move him back to center after Maurkice Pouncey retires.
