3 moves that could immediately help Steelers in Super Bowl window

Draft a running back
We have seen the impact good running backs can have right away with an organization. Just last season, Josh Jacobs helped the Raiders offense improve since the 2018 season. Ezekiel Elliott did the same for the Cowboys upon his entrance into the league.
While Pittsburgh isn’t picking in the first round this year, a good running back could still make an immediate impact.
James Conner was voted to the Pro Bowl in 2018 after earning nearly 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns while stepping in for Le’Veon Bell during his holdout. As a former 3rd round compensatory pick, Conner has been a competent interim option at the position, but he doesn’t possess a high ceiling and his game-to-game health is more than concerning.
Conner missed 6 games last season and played banged up in others. 2019 fourth-round rookie Benny Snell shows promise as a runner between the tackles, but his lack of explosion and limited ability as a receiver severely limit his upside as an every-down back for Pittsburgh.
The top three running backs in this class are very good, and if they have a chance at drafting one, it could help elevate the league’s 30th ranked offense right away. D’Andre Swift, J.K. Dobbins, and Jonathan Taylor are all names to keep an eye on during draft day, with a few other names who could quickly rise over the coming months.
