Tight ends I like

There are a few tight ends that I like for the Steelers. The one that I like the most is Harrison Bryant from FAU. I think he is a pure two-way tight end who can block and help you in the receiving game. I like that he fights for yards after the catch as well.

Bryant can be like a receiver in the intermediate-to-long passing game. He is, in my opinion, the most complete tight end in this draft.

Another tight end to consider is Stephen Sullivan from LSU. I think he needs work as a blocker but he is willing to throw his body into the mix; so, you will get some effort in that department. Where he shines is the receiving game where he has good speed to get separation and can be a deep threat.

Sullivan was used as an outside receiver in LSU’s system at times and that is a testament to who he is as a receiver. I think you can get him at a bargain in the mid-late rounds. I think he also has the “want-to” to learn how to block even though it wasn’t asked of him as much as LSU.

Another tight end that I like is Eli Wolf from Georgia. He is a bit raw for a player from a major program like Georgia. He is a violent blocker but could use some coaching in that area especially in the open field. He also is a capable pass-catcher.

One strength that gives him a lot of potential is his route running. He is a good route runner for a tight end. This translates to the ability to separate and get open at the next level. This is something that could help the Steelers in the receiving game.
