Even after the additions that were made, the Steelers still have some holes that need to be filled. These are the trades that could put them over the top.

With the early offseason beginning to simmer down, teams are now resuming their research on draft prospects and non-free agent options to better their teams. The Steelers have already made a “blockbuster trade” by acquiring Chris Wormley and a 2021 7th round pick for a 2021 5th round pick. Even with that, I want to think bigger.

After extensive research on the top NFL players that could be moved, I’ve devised a list of five blockbuster options that the Steelers could pursue. While these are all dream scenarios for the Steelers, if the past year has proven anything, its that Colbert is willing to be aggressive to get the players he wants.

This was first evident when the Steelers moved up ten spots in the draft to select Devin Bush. If that wasn’t enough, they shipped out their first-round pick this year for Minkah Fitzpatrick. While their capital this year may be low, fans can still dream about adding some more firepower this via trade.

While some of these trades could be deemed “unrealistic”, every player mentioned has recently undergone some sort of trade rumors. In terms of valuations, data taken from recent trades were used to find as accurate evaluations on what the team would potentially be looking for in terms of compensation. Obviously, this is speculation and isn’t a guaranteed evaluation. That said, these are the trades that are options for Colbert if he is serious about making a push for Super Bowl number seven before the window closes.
