4th round (from MIA): Lynn Bowden

Wide receiver, Kentucky

Before you get all worked up, yes, Lynn Bowden played quarterback this year for the Kentucky Wildcats in a pinch, but that’s not where he’s going to be in the NFL. Bowden is a natural football player and he will go back to being a wide receiver at the next level.

There is no doubt the Steelers could use some depth at wide receiver, and there are whispers they could be interested in Bowden. The Kentucky product is a veritable player who can line up all over the field and even take snaps as a running back. He is a physical player who consistently catches the ball across the middle of the field.

For the Steelers, Bowden projects as a capable option from the slot who will immediately slide into the number 4 receiver spot for the Steelers. Bowden is also a return specialist, and Pittsburgh could clearly use an upgrade in this area.
