Cornerback: Jeff Gladney

Outside of the top few cornerbacks this year, it’s hard to predict who will be available, let alone who the best prospects are. In a deep group of corners, I think a player like TCU’s Jeff Gladney could be on the board still in the second round.

Jeffery Okudah, Kristian Fulton, C.J. Henderson, and Trevon Diggs will all be gone. After that, it’s anyone’s guess. Other possible options include Bryce Hall, Jaylon Johnson, A.J. Terrell, and Noah Igbinoghene.

Safety: Antoine Winfield

The safety class isn’t particularly strong this year, so we could see a few players get over-drafted. However, there may be some solid second-round candidates available when the Steelers are on the clock.

Antoine Winfield Jr. is an undersized safety product with great field vision and playmaking ability. He could be the best on the board. Players who will likely be gone include Grant Delpit, Xavier McKinney, and small-school product, Kyle Dugger.

It’s possible that a few of the names I mentioned could slip through the cracks and fall to the Steelers, but more than likely, these are the best-case scenarios when Pittsburgh is on the clock in round two.
