With the 2020 NFL Draft just around the corner, the Steelers are all hands on deck to ensure this draft goes as successfully as possible.

With the NFL Draft fast approaching, adding another mock draft to the pile will be worth it to review more prospects available. Even after filling most of the needs the Steelers had, the team is still lacking at a few spots. The Steelers have yet to fill the hole that Javon Hargrave made when he left in free agency, but even then, an NT won’t play more than 30-45 percent of the snaps on defense. Beyond that, every starter is already set with a decent player.

There are still positions that need to be filled though for both depth and long-term starter potential. In no particular order, the team could use a WR, TE, OT, IOL, NT, OLB, ILB, and S to help fill out the depth chart. With only six picks, this means some positions won’t be able to be addressed via the draft unless the team trades back.

While in a previous mock I had the team trading back in the sim, in this one I will stay at 49 and find players that best fit what the Steelers need. I’ll be using Pro Football Network, Fanspeak, and the Draft Network mock draft simulators to ensure that players I pick are within a reasonable range of where the Steelers will pick. As well, I’ll be running the simulator five times (thus giving me 15 different mocks). I’ll use the players I pick in those mocks as my final selections in this one. Now, without any further ado, Steelers, you are on the clock!
