Wide receivers: 2nd-3rd round

This is my favorite group of players in the entire 2020 NFL Draft class. The wide receiver depth in the early rounds is set to be the best group since the 2014 draft class. Though I haven’t heard the Steelers targeting receiver in the early rounds, that could prove to be a mistake.

In most years, players like Jalen Reagor, Brandon Aiyuk, Laviska Shenault, and Denzel Mims would be locks to go in the first round. While a few of them will go in the first this year, the Steelers could bat cleanup with whichever receiver prospects end up slipping.

In the third round, Pittsburgh could potentially find tremendous value with a player like Bryan Edwards or Donovan Peoples-Jones. After that, this group starts to thin out quite a bit in rounds four and beyond.

Top Choices:

  1. Jalen Reagor, Round 2
  2. Brandon Aiyuk, Round 2
  3. Brian Edwards, Round 3
