DT Justin Madubuike

Another player who is sure to be on Pittsburgh’s radar is Texas A&M defensive tackle, Justin Madubuike. Madubuike is a well-built defender who has a solid anchor against the run and who can knife in the backfield after the quarterback – much like Javon Hargrave did for four years with the Steelers.

Though Madubuike makes a lot of sense to keep this defense firing on all cylinders, he very well could be gone well before pick 49.

Overall, it’s a relatively weak defensive tackle class, and Madubuike is the third-best prospect on many boards, behind just Derrick Brown and Javon Kinlaw. Ross Blacklock is a very similar player who wins the same way, but could be off the board early for the same reason.
