4th round (from MIA): Lynn Bowden

Wide receiver, Kentucky

Lynn Bowden is another name that has drawn some buzz around the Steelers. Though he was forced to play quarterback for much of the 2019 season, Bowden is a natural football player who will make his living at wide receiver in the NFL.

Capable of returning kicks and lining up all over the formation, Bowden could be a tool for a team who is willing to get the ball in his hands. However, despite playing multiple positions, he’s not as raw as you might guess.

The Steelers could certainly use some depth at wide receiver, and Bowden offers that. He could be a slot option in four-wide receiver sets and compete for kick and punt return duties from day one. If all goes well, Bowden could have a similar career path as Randall Cobb. Former Steeler Antwaan Randle El isn’t a bad comp either.
